How We Started

In 2011, a group of friends with years of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general contracting experience started Music City Handymen, LLC under the management of Scott Sherrod. What began as fulfilling plumbing and installation contracts for major retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s across Middle Tennessee has grown into a full-service contracting company.

Today, MCH Nashville is a state-licensed Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Utilities, and General Contracting company, serving builders, developers, and property owners throughout Greater Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

Some Examples of how MCH gives

MCH solar electric expert, James Lasater, teaches a team of Salvadoran interns how to install and maintain a small solar installation located in a rural village in El Salvador. James helped the team source parts to maintain the system even after the team from MCH Nashville left the country.
MCH’s Commercial and Service Department Manager, James Lasater, was recently appointed to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical Examiners Appeals Board with the Metro Nashville City Council.

James was appointed to this role due to 30 years experience as a Mechanical contractor. He is excited about this opportunity to serve Metro-Davidson County and the City Council.
